Entry Requirements

SPM: 3 Credits in the relevant subjects
O Level: 3 Grade C in the relevant subjects
UEC: 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects
Certificate: Relevant Certificate accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:

SPM, O Level, and UEC must include SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject^†
SPM, O Level, and UEC must include SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in one science subject ^^
SPM, O Level, and UEC must include SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language

^†A Grade B and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as fulfilling the Mathematics requirement for applicants who: have obtained a Pass in SPM (Grade D or Grade E), O Level (Grade D or Grade E), or UEC (Grade C) in the required Mathematics subject; or have failed the required Mathematics subject at SPM, O Level, or UEC.

^^ A Grade B and above in General Science conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as fulfilling the Science requirement for applicants who: have obtained a Pass in SPM (Grade D or Grade E), O Level (Grade D or Grade E), or UEC (Grade C) in the required Science subject; or have failed the required Science subject at SPM, O Level, or UEC.

Notes:

a) SPM holders must have at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and SPM holders from Year 2013 onwards must have at least a pass in Sejarah.
b) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Diploma.
c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
d) Subject to the Ministry of Education latest requirements.
