Entry Requirements

  • STPM: Minimum Grade C+ in 2 relevant subjects
  • A Level: Minimum Grade D in 2 relevant subjects 
  • UEC: Grade B in 5 relevant subjects 
  • Other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL): 
    • Relevant Foundation (with minimum CGPA 2.5000)/Diploma (with minimum CGPA 2.5000) accredited by MQA 
  • TAR UMT: 
    • Foundation in Business with minimum CGPA 2.5000 AND SPM Credit/O Level Grade C in Mathematics###/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject### OR
    • Relevant Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.5000^

Compulsory subjects: 

  • STPM, A Level, UEC, Other IHL must include SPM,O Level,UEC must include SPM Credit/O Level Grade C in Mathematics###/UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject###
  • STPM ,A Level, UEC, Other IHL must include SPM Pass/O Level Grade E (Pass)/UEC Grade C in English Language**

### Grade C and above in General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E(Pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.

** Grade C and above in English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC.

^ Graduates from Diploma in Accounting field or equivalent with CGPA 2.0001-2.4999 may be admitted subject to passing a thorough rigorous assessment.

Notes: 

  • a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of their Bachelor Degree.
  • b) TAR UMT Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
  • c) Equivalent qualifications or qualifications from other Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • d) Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education’s latest requirements.
