• An Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in pharmacy or science or biomedical science or engineering (in an appropriate discipline e.g. pharmaceutical, chemical, biomedical or materials) with at least a credit (60%) average

Entry Level 2 (72 points to complete, 1.5 years full-time)

• This entry point is available in semester two (July) only
• An Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in pharmaceutical science with at least a credit (60%) average

Entry Level 3 (48 points to complete, 1 year full-time)

• This entry point is available in semester one (February) only
• An Australian bachelor honours degree (or equivalent) in pharmaceutical science with at least a distinction (70%) average OR an Australian bachelor honours double degree (or equivalent) in engineering and pharmaceutical science with at least a distinction (70%) average

Minimum score for all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework courses

• IELTS (Academic)/IELTS One Skill Retake (Academic)/IELTS Online: overall score 6.5 with Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0 and Speaking 6.0
• TOEFL iBT/TOEFL iBT Paper Edition from 21 January 2026: total score 4 with Listening 3, Reading 3.5, Writing 4.5 and Speaking 3.5
• TOEFL iBT/TOEFL iBT Paper Edition prior to 21 January 2026: total score 79 with Listening 12, Reading 13, Writing 21 and Speaking 18
• TOEFL Essentials: total score 8 with Listening 7, Reading 7, Writing 9 and Speaking 7
• PTE Academic: overall score 58 with Listening 50, Reading 50, Writing 50 and Speaking 50
• C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: overall score 176 with Listening 169, Reading 169, Writing 169 and Speaking 169

• A time limit of 3 years is applicable from the date the English language measure was completed until the course commencement date. Monash University does not accept TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition or Pearson Test of English (Academic) Online as satisfying the English entry requirement for any Monash course.
