• STPM*:
  • Pass in Science stream or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics and ONE (1) Science or ICT subject; OR
  • Pass in Arts stream with a minimum Grade of C (CGPA 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects and a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent
• STAM*: Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid in any TWO (2) subjects and a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent
• UEC: Pass with a minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects including Additional Mathematics.
• A-Level*: Pass with minimum Grade D in 2 subjects and a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent
• Matriculation/Foundation*: 
  • Pass Matriculation/Foundation in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent, and a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent:
    • Note: Candidates from Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent can be exempted from taking reinforcement Mathematics, provided that the mathematics offered at that programme level equivalent/more than the Additional Mathematics offered at the SPM level.
• *Diploma:
  • Pass Diploma in Computing fields (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
    • Note: Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment.
  • Pass any Diploma in Science and Technology (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 AND a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent:
    • Note: Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but more than 2.50 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment.
  • Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) /Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Computing fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to University Senate / Academic Board’s approval. Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing fields with a minimum CGPA OF 2.50 subjected to University Senate / Academic Board’s approval
• Australian Year 12*: Pass Australian Year12 with average 55% and a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent:
• Canadian Year 12*: Pass Canadian Pre-University (CPU) or Ontario Secondary Diploma (Canadian Grade 12) with average 55% including and a Credit in the following subjects in SPM or its equivalent:
• International Baccalaureate: Pass International Baccalaureate with minimum score 24/45.
• Others: Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government

Notes:

• * a) Additional Mathematics or b) Mathematics and any one of the Science, Technology or Engineering subject. Candidates need to take and pass the reinforcement Mathematics equivalent to Additional Mathematics at the SPM level.
