    The scholarship isn’t guaranteed, as all submissions are evaluated by IMU. You’ll receive the outcome by email about two weeks after the closing date.

    You don’t need to pay anything to apply. If you’re awarded the scholarship, a non-refundable RM550 confirmation payment is required to secure it. When you accept the offer at IMU, this RM550 will be deducted from your Semester 1 fees.

    You can secure a scholarship based on your trial/forecast results. If your actual results are higher, you will be awarded a higher amount based on the number of As obtained. If it is lower, you will maintain the initial amount you were offered with your trail/forecast results.

    No, you are not permitted to hold more than one scholarship at any time. Acceptance of any additional scholarship will result in the automatic termination of the IMU award

    Yes, both Malaysia and International students are eligible to apply.

    If you are have missed the IMU Rising Star Scholarship deadline, you will still be considered for the regular scholarship offerings. This means you still have a chance to receive financial support for your studies, even if you miss out on the special award.
