University of Nottingham Malaysia Partners with Malaysian and Japanese High Schools
UNM will grant 3 scholarship seats to each high school.

To bolster educational exchange and collaboration, the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) has announced partnerships with 30 secondary schools in Malaysia to amplify higher education outcomes.
The partnership will offer partner schools a range of valuable benefits, including professional development workshops for teachers, delivered by UNM’s School of Education. Even more notably, UNM will grant each partner school 3 scholarship seats, with each scholarship covering 50% of the student’s first-year tuition fees, providing students with the opportunity to pursue a high-quality British tertiary education in Malaysia.
Director of Student Recruitment & Marketing at UNM, Jagdish Singh Malhi, stated, “This partnership programme with schools aims to foster a closer relationship between the university and our future students. At UNM, we want to nurture a generation of learners who are not just academically proficient, but holistically prepared to innovate for the future.”
In addition, UNM has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 3 Japanese high schools. The 2-year partnership is focused on International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) students from grades 10 to 12, where UNM will be supporting them with comprehensive support through workshops, higher education seminars, one-on-one counselling sessions and international events.
These MoUs indicate UNM’s commitment to preparing young minds to thrive in a diverse and rapidly changing world.
