Taylor’s University Ranks Globally for 17 Programmes in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024
Four of the subjects managed to rank in the top 100!

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 is out and Taylor’s University is all over it!
In a record-breaking feat, the university managed to secure global rankings in 17 subjects, with 4 subjects placing in the world’s top 100.
Ranked at #19 for Hospitality and Leisure Management, the university continues to be Malaysia’s top hospitality university for the eighth year in a row. This also marks their sixth year in the world’s top 20 for the subject.
Taylor’s is also ranked among the top 50 for their Marketing subject. This, and their recent accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), solidifies Taylor’s Business School as the premier private business university in Southeast Asia.
In addition, the university is also ranked among the world’s top 100 for its Data Science and AI (#51 – 70) as well as Art and Design programmes (#51 – 100).
“This achievement not only demonstrates our ability to excel in a diverse range of disciplines but also underscores our commitment to providing a holistic and top-tier education to our students, preparing them for success in their future careers and endeavours,” said Professor Barry Winn, Vice-Chancellor and President of Taylor's University.
Other subjects that made it into the rankings include Accounting and Finance, Architecture and Built Environment, Economics and Econometrics and Sociology, Social Sciences & Management (broad subject), Arts & Humanities (broad subject), Communication & Media Studies, Pharmacy & Pharmacology, Computer Science & Information Systems, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Engineering & Technology (broad subject) and Medicine.
