a) Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architecture

Accredited by the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM), this 3-year degree will teach you how to create structures that are functional, sustainable, and aesthetically innovative. The curriculum combines theoretical foundations with practical skills, including core modules like Architectural Design, Advanced Architectural Construction, and Architectural Project Management. 

Here is an overview:

  • 3-year architecture degree accredited by LAM
  • Hands-on experience with industry tools such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D printing
  • Includes a 7-week fieldwork component
  • Choose to specialise in Heritage and Conservation or Sustainable Design
  • Option to complete your degree at partner institutions in the United Kingdom
  • Direct pathway to Taylor’s Master's of Architecture
  • Compatible with Taylor’s Curriculum Framework, where you can choose an elective module

Graduates from the Architecture programme are prepared for roles such as architectural assistant, architectural designer, inspector of works, or property development executive. 

This qualification will also enable you to pursue a Master’s of Architecture, which is a requirement in order for you to become a professional architect.

b) Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interior Architecture

This 3.5-year degree, also accredited by LAM, focuses on designing interior environments that are functional, meaningful, and reflective of people’s needs. Core modules fall under streams such as Design Process and Theory, Products and Materials, and Humanities and Environment.

Here is an overview:

  • 3.5-year degree programme accredited by LAM
  • Hands-on experience with industry tools such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D printing
  • Includes a 6-month internship, either locally or abroad
  • Choose to specialise in Spatial Media or Environment Technology
  • Option to complete your final year at partner universities in the UK or Australia, or go for a semester-long exchange/mobility programme
  • Compatible with Taylor’s Curriculum Framework, where you can choose an elective module 

This programme offers a solid foundation for postgraduate studies or serves as a pathway to the Professional Interior Design Licensure Examination (IDLE) for registration as an interior designer under the Board of Architects Malaysia. Additionally, graduates from this programme can dive into roles such as interior designer, furniture designer, installation artist, or exhibition designer.
