This 6 – 8 January 2025, experience life as a doctor with SEGi’s Pre-Medical Programme at Sibu Hospital — one of the largest hospitals in Sarawak.
This three-day, two-night programme is an exciting opportunity for you to experience for yourself the fast-paced environment of healthcare. You’ll explore various medical disciplines within a hospital setting, gaining insights from experienced professionals in the fields of Surgery, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, as well as Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The programme also includes visits to Sibu Hospital’s special Agape clinic and Klinik Kesihatan Sibu Jaya. Each day is designed carefully to provide you with a closer look into patient care, allowing you to see what your future career as a doctor might hold.
And it’s not all about the hospital! During your stay, you’ll also get to tour Sibu, a lively town full of culture and history, making it a memorable education and cultural enrichment study trip.
Whether you’re currently pursuing a Foundation in Science or considering a future degree in Medicine or Health Sciences, this experience will help guide your career pathway.

What you need to know
The Pre-Medical Programme is open to current SPM / IGCSE students, as well as those currently pursuing Foundation in Science or equivalent.
The programme will span 3 days with a fee of RM800 that covers return flights, accommodation and meals. If you enrol for a Foundation in Science, Medicine or Health Science programme at SEGi University, RM800 will be deducted from your registration and administration fee.
The deadline for registration is 15 December 2024.
