Calling all aspiring film critics and pioneers of social change! Grab your popcorn and get empowered by the works of IACT College’s fresh talents at the IACT Film Festival (IFF) — an avenue of expression for students to explore taboo topics that spark social change.

After last year’s huge success, the festival returns with the theme MENTAL-ity, an initiative to create awareness about issues surrounding mental health and learning disabilities through films. The screening will showcase student work in three categories — short film, commercial and documentary — who will all be competing for the Judge’s Choice Award and Audience’s Choice Award for each category.

Aside from viewing the works of aspiring filmmakers, you’ll get a chance to exchange your views on short films and feature films in order to contribute to social change and public awareness on mental health. That’s not all, you’ll also meet the panel of local filmmakers and broaden your perspective as you watch and listen to their experiences in the field.
