Exceptional Graduates Recognised During INTEC Education College’s October 2017 Graduation Ceremony

INTEC Education College held its convocation ceremony at the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC) on 10 October 2017.

More than 350 graduates proudly received their scrolls in the following programmes: SACE International, the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP), the Korean Preparatory Programme and Japanese Preparatory Programme. At the same time, there were also graduates from INTEC’s Diploma in Business Management, as well as from professional accountancy programmes Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Over 1,000 guests, comprising parents, lecturers, sponsors and students, witnessed the joyous occasion, which saw graduates receiving their scrolls from UiTM Private Education Sdn Bhd chairman Prof Sr. Ir. Dr Suhaimi Abd Talib.

A total of 131 graduates were awarded the Chief Executive Award, which was initiated to encourage students to excel in various areas, including academic, sports, co-curriculum and characteristics.

On top of that, the institution’s professional accountancy centre, IPAC Education, recognised 6 exceptional graduates who made their mark in the world for the CAT and ACCA programmes respectively.

These include 5 CAT students who were awarded the No.1 rank in the country and the world in their respective papers, while one ACCA student was awarded the No.1 rank in the country and No.8 in the world:

  • Aminah Muti’ah Mohd Nasir and Asyraf Amin Kamarulzaman scored 96% in their Foundation in Financial Management (FFM) programme; and
  • Muhamad Nurakmal Mohd Musri, Muhammad Daniel Arif Yatim and Nor Rizwana Yusof scored 98% in the Information for Management Control (MA1) paper.
  • Meanwhile, ACCA student Jazlan Azman scored 80% in his Performance Management (F5) paper.
