Clazroom College recently made a notable appearance at Hari TVET Negara 2026, standing out as the only college representing Malaysia’s 3D Digital Game Art industry. Held from 5 – 7 June 2026, the national-level event brought together industry leaders, educators, government agencies and training providers to highlight the growing importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in shaping the country’s future workforce.

As part of the Future Skills Showcase and Technology Demonstration category, Clazroom College focused on emerging technologies and creative skills that are increasingly relevant in today’s digital economy. Their participation reflected a broader shift towards equipping students with practical, industry-ready capabilities, particularly in creative and digital fields.

Visitors to the college’s booth were drawn to a range of interactive experiences designed to make complex technologies more accessible. One of the highlights was an Augmented Reality (AR) mobile activation, developed in collaboration with TrueXR, which combined immersive 3D visuals with creative storytelling. Alongside this, live demonstrations of 3D scanning and 3D printing gave attendees a closer look at how real-world objects can be transformed into digital assets.

Aside from demonstrations, the college also actively engaged participants through a WorldSkills-inspired workshop and competition programme. Held on the 5th and 6th, participants took part in hands-on training and challenges that tested their technical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities. The programme concluded with an award ceremony on the 7th, recognising outstanding participants and promoting appreciation for digital art.

Attendees also gained industry insights shared by WorldSkills Asia Champion, Lam Kar Chun, who spoke about his journey in the creative field and the importance of developing industry-relevant skills. He is set to represent Malaysia in the 3D Digital Game Art category at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, further highlighting the global opportunities available in this field.

Clazroom College’s involvement in Hari TVET Negara 2026 aligns with Malaysia’s broader efforts to strengthen TVET as a pathway for developing future-ready talent. Through its focus on hands-on learning and industry-standard workflows, Clazroom College aims to prepare students for careers in the fast-evolving creative sector. Their presence at the event highlighted how education and industry collaboration can come together to build a more skilled and adaptable workforce for the future of the creative space.
