• SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA (SPM)
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) / equivalent with credit in the Malay Language subject and pass the History subject AND SPECIFIC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements: Obtained at least credits (Grade C) in TWO (2) of the following subjects:
    • Mathematics
    • ONE (1) of the Pure Science / Applied Science /Technical Science subjects.
    • AND A pass in the English language subject OR
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements: Achieving at least credits (Grade C) in TWO (2) of the Pure Science / Applied Science /Technical Science subjects.AND A pass in the Mathematics subject AND A pass in the English language subject.
  • Note: Candidates for admission from SPM graduates who passed but did not obtain a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level are required to follow a bridging programme.
• POLYTECHNIC CERTIFICATE/SIJIL KOMUNITI (SKK) / / EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) / equivalent with credit in the Malay Language subject and pass the History subject AND SPECIFIC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements: Possess a Polytechnic Certificate / Community College Certificate (SKK) / Certificate recognized as equivalent at MQF Level 3 and related to the applied Diploma program with a minimum CGPA of 2.00. AND a Honours (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM / equivalent level AND a Pass in English Language at SPM / equivalent level.
  • Notes:
    • Candidates for admission as Certificate leavers who do not have credits in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains Mathematics subjects equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.
    • Candidates for Certificate leavers who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (grade C) in Mathematics at SPM and Certificate levels must follow a bridging programme.
• SIJIL KEMAHIRAN MALAYSIA (SKM)
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) / equivalent with credit in the Malay Language subject and pass the History subject AND SPECIFIC PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements: Possess a Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) / Certificate recognized as equivalent to MQF Level 3 with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.AND A credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM level / equivalent AND A pass in English at SPM level/equivalent.
  • Notes:
    • Candidates for admission to Certificate leavers who do not have credits in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains Mathematics subjects equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.
    • Candidates for Certificate leavers who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at SPM and Certificate levels must follow a bridging programme.
• SIJIL VOKASIONAL MALAYSIA (SVM)
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Having a Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) with at least credit in Malay Language (Code 1104) AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENT OF THE PROGRAM
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements: Possess a Malaysian Vocational Certificate (SVM) in a field related to the applied Diploma program with at least a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics SVM AND an Academic CGPA ≥ 3.33; Vocational CGPA ≥ 3.67 AND a pass in History SVM AND a pass in English SVM.
  • Notes:
    • Candidates for SVM certificate who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (Grade C) in Mathematics at the SVM level must follow a bridging program.
• O LEVEL
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS:Having a Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with at least credits including Malay Language / Malay Language July Paper.AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT OF THE PROGRAM
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements: Possess GCE O-Level qualifications with a minimum of credit (Grade C) in any THREE (3) subjects including Mathematics and Pure Science / Applied Science / Technical.
  • Note: Candidates for O Level leavers who pass but do not obtain at least a credit (grade C) in Mathematics at the GCE O Level level must follow a bridging programme.
• APEL A
  • Meet the GENERAL UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS: Pass the MQA APEL A assessment AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS PROGRAM
  • Meet the University's General Requirements; and
  • Special Program Requirements:
    • Pass the MQA APEL A assessment (Aptitude Test and Portfolio Assessment);
    • Be not less than 20 years old in the year of application;
    • Have at least five (5) years of work experience in a related field; and Pass the faculty-level interview.

• Candidates must not have any disability such as blindness / deafness / muteness / learning disability / paralysis / physical disability that makes practical work difficult.
