Year 1

All of the International Foundation Programme modules are designed and taught by university lecturers and are therefore tailored with your future degree in mind. Students who wish to progress onto one of our highly regarded undergraduate programmes will be taught ‘Academic Skills’ and three modules relating to their chosen degree programme, chosen from:

Economics
Introduction to Business and Management
Maths for Finance, Economics and Business
Psychology
Law

Students will need to study the International English module if their English level is below:

IELTS 4.5 (no component below 4.0)
D in IGCSE English as a Second Language
D in SPM English 1119

Entry Requirements

SPM or IGCSE or an equivalent qualification:
- Minimum 5 Credits (A-C) [including Programme specific requirements] OR
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with grades:
- BBBCC [including Programme specific requirements]

English Requirements

English Language*:
- SPM English CEFR: B1 + Grade C in English
- SPM English 1119 (GCE-O): Grade C
- IGCSE English: Grade C
- IELTS: 5.5 overall with min. 4.5 in each component
- or equivalent
* University English courses are available for students with English grade below CEFR A1 or D, IELTS 4.5 with at least 4.0 in each component, UEC English B5, or equivalent
