- The University's International Foundation Programme (IFP) was one of the first to be established in the UK and the programme offered in Malaysia is the same as that offered in the UK
- Upon successful completion and meeting of progression requirements, you may progress to your degree studies at the award-winning campus in Reading, UK, or the state-of-the-art campus in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia
- All of the International Foundation Programme modules are designed and taught by university lecturers and are therefore tailored with your future degree in mind
- As well as academic skills, the IFP helps you develop non-academic skills which are an integral part of overall development, through weekly enhancement activities such as social outings, team-building, motivational talks, business workshops and Law workshops
Entry Requirements
- SPM/IGCSE: Minimum 5 Cs
- UEC: BBBCC or equivalent
Note: Includes programme-specific requirements.
- SPM: Minimum Grade C OR
- CEFR: B1 OR
- SPM English 1119 / IGCSE English: Grade C OR
- UEC English: B4
- IELTS: 5.5 overall with no component below 4.5 or equivalent

- Introduction to Academic Skills and Communication (IFOASC)*
- Further Academic Skills and Communication (IFOFSC)*
- Sustainable Thinking (IFOST)
- Enhanced Interpersonal Skills (IFOEIS)
English-Support Modules
- * English-support components have now integrated in the compulsory modules: IFOASC and IFOFSC
- Note: Students who have yet to meet the English language standard specified for undergraduate study will meet those requirements via these integrated modules
