Course Highlights

The interdisciplinary structure of this programme will train you in the technical expertise of digital media and game development
You will be equipped with a fundamental understanding of art and design in the crafting of game designs and the refinement of mathematical proficiencies in programming languages
Develop skills in entrepreneurship and management, and be adequately adept as an well-rounded professional game developer
Be well-versed in programming concepts, data structures, online networking, game graphics programming, virtual and augmented reality, allowing you to thrive in the challenging game industry as game creators, programmers and technologists

Entry Requirements

STPM: A minimum of Grade C in any 2 subjects
STAM: A minimum grade of Jayyid
A Level: A minimum of Grade D in any 2 subject
UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects
SAM: Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in any 2 subjects
CPU: An average of 70% in any 6 subjects
(IB) Diploma: Diploma with a minimum of 24 points (excluding bonus points)
TVET Diplomas: Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM

- 2. A minimum CGPA of 2.50 or CGPA 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in relevant field, subject to Senate / Academic Board’s approval
- 3. Applicants will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure
- 4. Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect.
UTAR Foundation/Matriculation / Foundation from other Institutions of Higher LearningDiploma (Level 4, MQF)/Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF)/:

**Applicants will be required to attend and pass an internal assessment on logical thinking**

Logical Thinking Test:

Applicants must take a logical thinking test, either in person at the university or online. If the test is taken online, the student will be proctored online. A detailed description of the testing procedures and submission of responses will be provided
Exemption from the requirement to attend an internal assessment will be considered for applicants with Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications
The panel reserves the right to invite the applicant for an interview if questions arise

Malaysian Applicants

STPM/UEC/qualfications not conducted fully in English: Credit in English language at SPM level OR
O-Level English: Grade C OR
UEC English: Grade B OR
MUET Band: 3.5 OR
IELTS Band: 5.0 OR
TOEFL: 40(iBT)/7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 OR
Cambridge English 154/100(OET) / ELS CIEP Level 107 / HEET 6 (NOT applicable for A-Level/SAM/CPU or entry qualifications conducted fully in English BUT must have a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent
Those who do not meet the above English language requirements but obtain a pass in English language at SPM level / equivalent are required to take the Intensive English Programme and pass CEFR B2 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme
