- STPM: 2 Grade C and a credit in SPM Mathematics/equivalent
- A Level: 2 Grade D and a credit in SPM Mathematics/O Level Mathematics/equivalent
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 relevant subjects (including 1 Mathematics subject/credit in SPM Mathematics/O Level Mathematics/equivalent)
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Average of 70% in 2 relevant subjects 2 relevant subjects (and 4 other subject including 1 Mathematics subject/credit in SPM Mathematics/O Level Mathematics/equivalent)
- Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)
- Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning in the relevant field including credit in SPM Mathematics subject
- Matriculation Certificate (in Science Stream), Ministry of Education including credit in SPM Mathematics
- Diploma Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) in the relevant field:
- CGPA above 2.50
- If CGPA below 2.50, subject to an interview
