- STPM: GPA of 2.33 in 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics
- A Level: Grade D in 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics (with grade C)
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B in 5 subjects including 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and Grade B in 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Average of 70% in 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics (and 4 other subjects)
- Foundation Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman: GPA of 2.33 in 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics
- Foundation from other Institutions of Higher Learning: GPA 2.33 in 2 of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry OR Physics/Mathematics

- Diploma from Institutions of Higher Learning in the relevant field: Minimum CGPA of 2.75
