Entry Requirements

  • STPM: Grades BBB/ABC/AAC or CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) in 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics
  • A Level: Grades BBB/ABC/AAC in 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B4 in 5 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Mathematics (1) and Advanced Mathematics (II)
  • South Australian Matriculation (SAM):
    • Aggregate/average of 80% or the equivalent of 8 in any 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics OR
    • 80% ATAR provided subjects include Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Average of 80% in any 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics

    • *The NEET is required for Indian Citizen who wish to work in India
    • **Those who do not intend to work as a medical practitioner in India must provide a signed letter of undertaking witnessed by a Lawyer or Commissioner of Oath. This letter of undertaking must clearly state that they will not seek registration with the National Medical Commission of India
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
    • For September 2023 Intake: 30 points with a minimum of 2 Science subjects or Mathematics at Higher level (HL) and 1 Science subject at Standard level (SL) and attained a minimum score of 4 each in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics
    • For September 2024 Intake: Minimum overall score 33 points, 2 science subjects (Biology and Chemistry) at Higher Level (HL) and Mathematics at HL and attained a minimum score of 5 each in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR): CGPA 3.50 and GPA 3.00 for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics
  • Matriculation/Foundation in Science/Pre-Medical course (not less than 1 year duration in the same accredited institution):
    • CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) and GPA 3.00 in 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics AND
    • Minimum of 58s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/Additional Mathematics and another subject (English Language) at SPM/equivalent level
  • Monash University Foundation Pre-University Programme:
    • Aggregate/average of 80% in 3 subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics OR
    • 80% ATAR provided subjects include Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics
  • Diploma in Health Sciences (duration of 5 semesters OR 2.5 years in the same accredited institution):
    • CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) AND
    • Minimum of 28s in Biology/Chemistry/Physics and 3 credits each in English Language, Mathematics/Add. Mathematics and another subject at SPM/equivalent
  • Degree in Health/Pure/Applied Sciences/Medical Sciences: CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0)
  • Degree in the Arts/Humanities: CGPA 3.50 (out of 4.00)
  • Malaysian applicants MUST have a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu
  • Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview
  • The interview will be based on the following aspects:
    • Attitude, personal qualities, emotional stability
    • Communication skills in the English Language
    • Critical thinking in relation to health issues
