Entry Requirements
- STPM (Science Stream): CGPA of 2.50 with Passes in Grade C in any 2 Science subjects
- STPM (non-Science Stream): CGPA of 2.50 and Grade C in any 2 subjects and a SPM credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- STAM: At least Grade Jayyid and SPM credits in 2 Science subjects and Mathematics*
- *The requirement to have credit in Science, Mathematics and Islamic Studies subjects at SPM level can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain Science, Mathematics and Islamic Studies subjects with equivalent/higher achievement.*
- A Level: Grade C in 2 Science subjects
- A Level: Grade C in any 2 subjects and a SPM/equivalent credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Grade B5 in 5 subjects including 2 Science subjects
- UEC: Grade B5 in any 5 subjects and a SPM/equivalent credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 75 and Grade B in any 2 Science subjects
- SAM: Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 75 and Grade B in any 2 subjects and a SPM/equivalent credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Minimum of 80% in 6 subjects including 2 Science subjects
- CPU: Minimum of 80% in any 6 subjects and a SPM/equivalent credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- Diploma in Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) related areas or any Science related areas (Level 4, MQF) Tunku Abdul Rahman College University (TAR UC)/Institutions recognised by the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Board/other Institutions of Higher Learning:
- At least CGPA of 2.50 OR
- CGPA above 2.00 but less than 2.50 with a minimum of 2 years work experience in relevant T&CM or Science related fields
- The TVET diplomas such as Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) related areas or any Science related areas:
- The DKM/DVM/DLKM must be fully accredited by MQA
- Required at least CGPA of 2.50 OR with CGPA above 2.00 but less than 2.50 with minimum 2 years work experience in relevant T&CM or Science related fields subject to Senate/Academic Boards approval
- Students will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and may be required to undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure
- Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect
- Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman: CGPA 2.50
- Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman: CGPA 2.50 and a SPM/equivalent credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- Foundation/Matriculation in Science or T&CM related areas from Institutions of Higher Learning: At least CGPA 2.50
- Matriculation/Foundation in other fields from Institutions of Higher Learning: CGPA 2.50 and a SPM/equivalent credits in any 2 Science subjects and 1 Mathematics subject
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline from Institutions of Higher Learning
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
