The Manufacturing Systems Engineering (MSE) programme focuses on system-approach to manufacturing and designing/planning for future requirements. It emphasizes the relationships between product design requirements, manufacturing processes and systems, taking into account human, economics and environmental factors.
At the end of the programme, students of MSE are expected to:
- Apply basic knowledge and skills in mathematics, science and engineering to solve problems in manufacturing processes and systems
- Design, plan and control, implement, analyze and improve manufacturing processes and systems with appropriate considerations to human, economics and environmental factors
- Apply computer and automation technologies to manufacturing processes and systems
- Acquire skills in technopreneurship, problem-solving, communication, leadership and teamwork

Entry Requirements
- Pass in STPM/Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.0 and at least Grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Science subject
- Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB): At least 24 points
- Pass in A-Level: Minimum Grade D in Mathematics one (1) relevant Science subject
- Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM): Minimum grade of Jayyid and pass SPM or its equivalent with minimum Grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Physical Science subjects (i.e; Physic, Chemistry & etc)
- Recognized Diploma in Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent with CGPA 2.0
- Recognized related Technical/Vocational/Skills Diploma with CGPA 2.0;
- Pass the DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND have at least two (2) years of work experience in the related field. The program must get Full Accreditation (FA) by MQA or others Accreditation bodies that had been recognized by government of Malaysia and according to approval by UniKL Senate.
