Entry Requirements
- i. A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Senate; OR
- ii. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a CGPA of 2.00-2.49, and a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field, and Pass the evaluation on personal statement demonstrating knowledge, skills, experience, and achievement related to the programme*; OR
- iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses** and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii); OR
- iii. A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) as accepted by the Senate; OR
- iv. Pass APEL.A T7 assessment in Pharmacology
- Additional internal reference, Related fields for Master of Pharmacology are:
- Pharmacy
- Biotechnology
- Other medical and health sciences fields
- Other field is subject to the Senate’s approval
Note:
- *Evaluations on personal statements to compensate for CGPA or non related fields do not stack over each other. The same evaluation satisfies both requirements
- **Prerequisite subjects for entry qualification not related to the programmes:
- a.Basic Pharmacology
- b.Biochemistry
- Pre-requisite courses may be taken at Universiti Geomatika Malaysia or through Micro-Credential, MOOC, Short Course, or CPD platforms such as Coursera, OpenLearning, and others. Candidates must provide evidence and pass a rigorous internal assessment.
