• i. STPM: A pass with a minimum grade of C (CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or an equivalent qualification, and a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• ii. STAM: A pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid in any two (2) subjects, including a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• iii. Matriculation or Foundation studies: A pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• iv. A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in non-computing fields:
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.75. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.75 but above 2.50 may be admitted subject to a thorough and rigorous assessment; AND a credit in: Mathematics at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR

Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at the SPM level must take and pass a reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to the SPM level. This reinforcement Mathematics subject must be offered in the first semester or before enrolment with an unconditional offer; OR

• v. Diploma in Computing fields (Level 4, MQF) or an equivalent qualification:
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough and rigorous assessment; OR
• vi. Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in Computing fields: Minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the approval of the HEP Senate / Academic Board; OR
• vii. Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in Computing fields: Minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to the approval of the HEP Senate / Academic Board; OR
• viii. Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government

Candidates can be admitted if their admission qualification includes Mathematics subjects equivalent to Additional Mathematics at the SPM level. If not, a reinforcement Mathematics subject equivalent to the SPM level must be offered in the first semester or before enrolment with an unconditional offer; OR

• ix. Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) at Level T6

Notes:

• Students are required to pass the reinforcement Mathematics subject before being allowed to take related core courses. However, they may take subjects that do not require Mathematics as a prerequisite.
• The reinforcement Mathematics subject can contribute to the overall graduating credits
• Students from Matriculation/Foundation or an equivalent qualification may be exempted from taking reinforcement Mathematics, provided that the Mathematics offered at that level is equivalent to or higher than Mathematics at the SPM level
