Entry Requirements
- STPM: Pass with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in two (2) subjects with a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level*; OR
- STAM: Pass with at least Grade Jayyid with a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level*; OR
- Matriculation or Foundation: Pass in with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
- Diploma (Level 4, MQF): Pass in with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
- Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF): Pass with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM):
- Pass in with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval, and MUST attend bridging courses; OR
- DKM) / DLKM / DVM:
- Pass with at least a CGPA of 2.00 AND have at least two (2) years of work experience in a relevant field, subject to the approval of the Senate, and MUST attend bridging courses; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
- Admission via APEL A (Bachelor’s, Level 6, MQF)
Applicants must:
- a) Be a Malaysian citizen; AND
- b) Be more than 21 years of age in the year of application; AND
- c) Possess relevant work experience / prior experiential learning; AND
- d) Pass the APEL Assessment.
Notes :
- * A pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or equivalent qualifications:
- a) Can be waived if higher qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent/higher achievement
- b) Malaysian students using English as the medium of instruction in their previous study or with at least Band 2 in MUET or equivalent can be exempted from the pass in English requirement
- c) Candidates without a pass in Mathematics and/or English at SPM level or equivalent may be admitted but are required to attend special enhancement courses. These courses must be SPM equivalent and remedial in nature. Students must pass the Mathematics and English enhancement courses as a prerequisite to related core courses taught in English.

- a) A pass in SPM English*
Exempted from University English Courses if:
- a) Distinction in SPM / SPMV English; OR
- b) MUET Band 4, 5, or 6; OR
- c) Pass in English Course at a previous institution.
Required to take English Preparatory 2 if:
- a) Credit in SPM / SPMV English; OR
- b) MUET Band 1, 2, or 3.
Required to take English Preparatory 1 & 2 if:
- a) No credit in SPM / SPMV English.
