- Newcastle's Foundation: CGPA 3.00
- A-Levels/STPM: BBC in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics
- International Baccalaureate Diploma:
- 30 points in Biology, Chemistry and one science subject3 at Higher Level Grade 4 and above
- Foundation in Science / Matriculation: CGPA 3.30
- Monash University Foundation Year: Average of 70%
- Australian Year 12: ATAR score 70
- United Examination Certificate (UEC):
- 5 B4 in the following subjects:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Advanced Mathematics I and Advanced Mathematics II
- 5 B4 in the following subjects:
- Indian Board Class 12: Average of 70% on five subjects
- American Advanced Placement (AP): A minimum of 4, 4, 3 at Grade 12 level and above

- Credit transfers from other diploma and bachelor’s degree programmes are available, subject to approval.
- Pre-university qualifications must include Biology, Chemistry, and one other subject at A-Level or STPM equivalent.
