The Bachelor in Actuarial Analytics is accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and Society of Actuaries (SOA)
Curriculum is designed to align with the needs of data-driven industries like insurance, insurtech, finance and fintech, ensuring you will be well-positioned for success in actuarial science, business/data analytics, investment, finance and banking
Opportunity to opt for the Work Experience Programme unit elective and go on a three or four-month internship to integrate academic learning with workplace experience
Upon completion, you will become a catalyst for digital transformation within organisations, propelling impactful change in the ever-evolving landscape of data-centric industries

Part A. Foundation commerce knowledge

These units will provide you with a comprehensive study of economics and econometrics disciplines and the impact they have on multi-discipline decision-making in organisations. The units consider the impact on the business, professional and public policy communities.

Part B. Specialist discipline knowledge

These units will develop your capacity as a critical and creative professional who is able to apply your knowledge of actuarial science to provide discipline-based solutions to commerce. Units contained within the discipline may meet the requirements for professional accreditation bodies.

Part C. Capstone experience

The capstone unit is designed to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the study of your specialisation.

Part D. Free elective study

This will enable you to further develop your knowledge of actuarial science, or commerce more broadly, or to select any units from across the University in which you are eligible to enrol including to complete a minor from another course.

Prerequisites:

Mathematics (Australian Year 12 equivalent) is a prerequisite for the Bachelor in Actuarial Analytics.

*The undergraduate entry requirements published are for students who commence the MUFY program in 2024.
**The Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) accepts a minimum D Grade in A Level to be equivalent to the STPM Pass grade.
