- STPM / A-Level: A pass with minimum Grade C (Grade Point 2.00/ pass) in any two subjects; OR
- Diploma in a related field (Level 4 MQF): A pass in with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR
- Matriculation or Foundation: A pass in with at least CGPA 2.00; OR
- Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM):
- A pass with at least PNKG 2.50 subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board's approval
- Other equivalent qualifications recognize by the Malaysian Government
