What You Need to Know About Asia Metropolitan University

Previously known as Masterskill University College of Health Sciences, Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) is a private university in Malaysia which was established in 2000.

AMU offers a wide range of courses at foundation, diploma, degree and postgraduate levels, priding itself for its Nursing, Medicine and Health Sciences programmes. To date, it has produced over 25,000 graduates that have successfully managed to find employment not just in Malaysia but abroad as well.

The university has 2 campuses — one in Cyberjaya, which hosts its Business, Accounting, Information Technology and Computer Science programmes; and another in Johor Bahru, which hosts its Medicine and Healthcare-related programmes.

AMU was awarded ‘Tier 3: Good’ by the Ministry of Higher Education (MQA SETARA 2017). In the years to come, AMU aims to be the university of choice for Healthcare and Allied Science programmes.

AMU’s Cyberjaya campus, which hosts its Business, Accounting, Information Technology and Computer Science programmes, is located on a 5-acre plot of lush green land in the heart of Malaysia’s high-technology business district. The university is a mere 20-minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
