This 22 August 2026, get a real taste of mixology, culinary and pastry arts at the Junior Chefs & Mixologists Workshop, brought to you by YTL International College of Hotel Management (YTL-ICHM) and EduAdvisor.
Roll up your sleeves and gain a genuine feel for the craft, precision and creativity behind the world of mixology, culinary arts and pastry arts. Try your hand at mixing 4 different mocktails before heading into the kitchen, where you’ll prepare a Glazed Cheese Mousse with Yoghurt Spheres and Vanilla Sponge and Mocha Spaghetti. Yes, you read that right — it’s a main pasta dish with a clever dessert twist, a chef’s special just for this event.
Alongside these hands-on activities, you’ll also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur and The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur — the very hotels where YTL-ICHM students carry out their internships — so you can see firsthand where a career in hospitality begins.
Education advisors will be available for one-on-one counselling sessions, where you can learn about YTL-ICHM’s scholarships and guaranteed employment at over 35 luxury hotels and resorts around the world. To round things off, a free buffet-style lunch will be served at Shook! right at The Starhill.
A Certificate of Participation will also be awarded.
