What you need to know
The Taylor’s Start It Right (SIR) programme is a free college preparatory programme for students enrolling into Taylor’s Cambridge A Level, SACE International and Foundation programmes. It aims to help you prepare for college by providing you with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies crucial to helping you survive your education journey and make an impact.
The programme will focus on 5 key components including:
- Pre-university life skills
- Communication skills
- Progression pathways
- Academic success coaching
- Community outreach experience
For those looking to be ahead of the curve, the programme is a great opportunity for you to prepare for entry into college, enrol and meet your classmates earlier, and stock up on essential college survival skills. This will give you a chance to adapt to college life faster, which will reflect positively on your study experience and grades.
