APU Recognised for Excellence in Technology and Graduate Employability at Private Education Excellence Awards 2024

Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) was recently honoured with two prestigious awards at The Private Education Excellence Awards 2024, an event that celebrates the achievements of private educators across Malaysia. Presented by the Private Education Co-Operative of Malaysia (EDUCOOP), this marks the organisation’s ninth edition, with Institution Awards in 9 categories and Outstanding Individual Awards in 25 categories.

Known for their innovative approach to education, APU was honoured with the Outstanding Institutional Award for Computing and Technology Programmes. This award further reinforces APU’s position as Malaysia’s Premier Digital Tech University, a title that reflects the institution’s commitment to blending technology, creativity and innovation in its curriculum.

Furthermore, APU was also recognised as the Best University for Graduate Employability, highlighting their success in preparing students for the job market. Notably, APU boasts a remarkable 100% graduate employability rate, and is ranked #1 for international students in Malaysia and #16 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2025.

Professor Dr Ho Chin Kuan, APU's Vice-Chancellor, expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thank you for yet another feather in our cap, which further testifies to the strength of our faculty members who continue transforming students into highly employable professionals by providing top-notch tech-related programmes as a Malaysia Digital Premier Digital Tech Institution (MD PDTI).” He also highlighted the significance of the awards, noting, “The award ceremony is a reminder of our collective efforts, regardless of institutions, to ensure we give our best in shaping the minds and hearts of the future generation.”
