Entry Requirements

Note: Natural Sciences subjects are Physics, Biology or Chemistry. Physics will be given preference.

  • STPM: Pass with 2 principal passes including Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject
  • A-Level: Pass with 2 principal passes including Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject
  • UEC: Pass with 5 Bs (must include Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject)
  • Foundation Studies in Sciences or Engineering: Pass with CGPA 2.0 in relevant field from institute of higher education recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Pass with TER 60%
  • Canadian Pre-U (CPU): Pass with minimum of 60% in Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject
  • Diploma in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or other relevant field: Pass with minimum of CGPA 2.0 from higher education institute recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • New South Wales Higher School Certificate: Pass with minimum of Band 3 in Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject
  • South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE): Pass with minimum of grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD): Pass with minimum of 60% in Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject
  • International Baccalaureate: Pass with minimum of 24 points
  • Matriculation, Ministry of Education Malaysia: Pass with minimum of CGPA 2.0
  • Other equivalent qualification that recognised by Malaysia Government
