Heartiest congratulations to University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) Team Three-rific for bringing home the title of National Champions for the Unilever Future Leaders’ League 2022.

The trio — Leong Kai Ni studying International Business Management, and Poa Yee Shuang and Wong Jia Yee both studying Finance, Accounting and Management — walked away with internship placements in Unilever where they will build their competencies such as critical thinking and business acumen through actual real-life business problems.

Unilever Future Leaders’ League is an international business case competition that is held annually and conducted both at the national and global scale. The competition calls for innovative proposals comprising business leadership skills to tackle real business problems and needs. Contestants in teams of 3 will need to submit a video presentation of their business ideas to partake in the competition.

This is the second time UNM students have succeeded in the Unilever Future Leaders’ League, a testament to the strength of UNM’s business programmes. In 2021, UNM saw Economics student Loh Nicole become the Global Champion at Unilever Future Leaders’ League 2021 alongside two other students.
