The MoU outlines the details of the partnership, which includes plans to collaborate on practical training, academic programmes, expertise and efforts to promote and develop Malaysian films and talent. The partnership is also responsible for the launch of a promising event — the Taylor’s University Film Festival (TUFF).

Scheduled to take place at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus from 20 - 22 November this year, TUFF is open to entries from university students in Malaysia and Southeast Asia as well as upcoming filmmakers with no more than 5 years of experience.
