It’s official — Taylor’s College has finally moved from its Subang Jaya campus to the Lakeside Campus on 4 January 2018.
In conjunction with the highly anticipated move, Taylor’s College organised a blazing bash that kicked off with 10 members of their management team making a bold entrance to the Lakeside Campus via a convoy of 10 roaring Harley-Davidsons, decked in black leather jackets and sunglasses. The convoy, which started at the Subang Jaya campus, was led by Taylor’s Education Group CEO Dato’ Loy Teik Ngan.
Not to be outshone were other staff and students of Taylor’s College, who also arrived in style via 2 double-decker buses while accompanied by the head-bobbing beats of a marching band.
In his speech, Dato’ Loy highlighted that “the bold move comes at an appropriate time as we believe it is necessary to better provide for changing student needs in the midst of an evolving education landscape”.
The move also affords all students an equal opportunity to enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities and conducive learning environment provided at the Lakeside Campus, which was voted the country’s top university campus by international students.
Attendees were also treated to energetic performances by a dance crew who grooved to popular numbers from across the eras, such as the Bryan Adams hit, Summer of ’69 — a nod to the year marking the inception of the Taylor’s Education Group; Queen’s We Will Rock You; and pop hits by Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls and Bruno Mars.
The afternoon’s events culminated with the reveal of the Taylor’s Legacy Gallery, which showcased photos and yearbooks cataloguing Taylor’s College past and present.
