Both programmes are the same and lead to an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), a qualification which is awarded to Canadian students who successfully complete 12th Grade in high school.

Similar to the American education system, Canadian Pre-U emphasises on interactive learning, focusing on coursework as well as individual and group assignments rather than exams. Your final grades usually comprises of 70% coursework and 30% final exams.

Most students take 6 subjects, including English. Unlike A-Level and Australian Matriculation, subjects are delivered on a modular basis, which means you will study different subjects every semester.
